Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick

So today I have a couple of the Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks that I picked up. I have only really worn one so far, but I do like what I see.


Product Information :


Revolution delivers the pigment rich color. It is creamy ,long lasting, hydrating and nourishing. It offers 22 shades that works on any skin tone.


Thoughts:

I find the lipstick to be very pigmented.The color is true to what is in the tube, which as we all know that sometimes is not always the case. I find it to be full coverage, and buildable to make a bold statement.  I wouldn't say that it is long lasting, but it does have good wear time. The packaging, is also  neat, so what we are looking at is a gunmetal tube outside; when you open the tube it has a dark purple.  The only thing I didn't care for was the price, at $22 a pop you have to really consider the one you want.

Okay so on to the colors I got.

So the color I have been wearing most this summer is Anarchy, which a bright fuchsia color

The other color that I purchased was F-Bomb, I got this for 2 reasons the name and the color- this is described as a classic red.

Also as we are heading into the fall months were the darker, warmer lipsticks come out to play.

I got Shame which is described as a deep berry and Venom which is described as a bright plum.

Avon Clearskin Blemish Clearing Treatment

Hello Everyone,

So today I wanted to talk about the Avon Blemish Clearing 2-in-1 Hydrator.

The product is supposed to help with clearing blemishes on the face while keeping it hydrated.

While I didn't personally see any changes in the blemishes I already had on my face, I noticed that I did not get any new ones. I did also find that my face had a luminous glow to it.


It does not have any SPF, so I use additional face lotion over it. This product was light weight enough where I didn't feel like my pores were drowning.

I would say that if you are prone to breakouts this would be good addition to your routine.

Maybelline Colorsensational - Vivids

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are enjoying your weekend, well I happened to pick up the highly discussed Vivids lipstick. I purchased 3 of them.


Hot Plum- Bright Pink, Vibrant Mandarin - Orange , Brazen Berry- Purple


Thoughts:

I like the price , the were less than $6 at Target. So if you picked up more than one it would be the price of 1 lipstick from the department store.

The pigmentation is awesome, they do stay very true to color. This would be a good lipstick to start with if you are new to lipstick or if you are wanting highly quality lipstick without the high prices.

I also find that the color does last a very long time and the lipstick was moisturizing so it did not feel very drying.

The lipstick has the nice fruity smell, not waxy like some.


If you are able to pick up a couple go ahead and do so.

As you all know I am always on the hunt for the best mascara.  For a  mascara to meet my standards they have to be no clump, lengthens ,and add volume. 

Product Information:


Transforms Lashes to lush, long and lustrous. A potion with strengthening proteins drenches lashes for volume. Triple- groove wand combs through for clump free length.


Thoughts:


I find that it does lengthen and adds volume, don't think that you will somehow magically look like Emma Stone in the commercial. Try not to use to many coats though as it does flake off. I do like that I was able to darken my lashes and it does make it look as if I have them. The brush size may seem intimidating, but you are able to use it on both the top and bottom.

This is an inexpensive option of mascara, this can be found at your local drugstore.

Avon Satin Glow Review

Now that summer is upon us, we will be using products to enhance our healthy glow.
I was able to try this Avon Satin Glow Gel, and I though I would share my thoughts.


Product Information:

Fast drying, refreshing gel

Instantly hydrates skin
Provides a natural, sun kissed glow after just 3 days
Visibly firms skin after one week
Minimizes the appearance of hair and skin imperfections after two weeks


Thoughts:

I have been using this product for  2 weeks although , I haven't noticed a change in my "tan". I have notice that my color is not as dull,as I tend to get. I also like that I once I put the product on, it is not greasy nor does it leave residue behind that may stain garments since it is a clear gel. I haven't noticed that I haven't noticed a change in the hair but I will say that my skin does feel softer and moisturized the next day even.

If you are looking for a inexpensive way to add natural glow to your skin this may be a way to go.

Rihanna and M.A.C. release second collaboration for summer

Hello Everyone,

The second drop from the Rihanna and MAC collaboration will see a new expanded range of summer makeup hitting stores later this month.

First announced back in February, Rihanna's collaboration with MAC is finally here for summer. After the Brooklyn debut of the RiRi Woo lipstick last month, this June 18  (got it from the mac rep) will see the full collection, called RiRi Hearts Summer, appear in MAC's online stores.

The RiRi Woo, Heaux and RiRi Boy lipsticks will be joined by a Hibiscus Kiss blusher and the Barbados Girl Lustre Drops highlighter.

Mac Temperature Rising Haul

Hello Everyone,

Mac launched their summer collection at the end of May, I was able to get a couple items.

I purchased the 2 blushes , 2lipsticks , both eye shadow quads , a lip gloss and the strobe liquid lotion.

The packaging is cute, it's a bronzy color with a rubbery feel to it. The packaing matches the box, the box has a purple lining on the inside.

Is there anything worth getting out of the collection, yes the blushes are worth it. A couple of the lipsticks are and the bare my soul palette.

Trouty Pout Friday : OCC Lip Tar

Hello Everyone,

I purchased my first OCC product. I wanted to see what the hype was all about, what better day to try a new lip product but on lipstick Friday.

The lip color is called Anime, it reminds me of  Mac's Girl About Town.

I was able to get about 4 hours worth of wear without having to reapply. It comes in a squeeze tube like a lip gloss however you may need to apply with a brush, which you do get in the packaging. I also did not experience any color bleed.


I purchased mine at Sephora for $16.00

 

 



 

 

I think since we are heading into the summer months, this would be a good summer color with a neutral eye.

 

 



Vegas Baby!

Hello Everyone,

I was able to go on a little vacation, to get some color back as the frozen tundra is taking so long to thaw.

I mostly went sight-seeing, I went to several of the malls on the strip, but the highlight of my trip has to be the Mac Pro store. I had never been to a pro store before.

Yes, Yes yet another Mac Launch that I managed to get some stuff from. Again I am not saying to get everything that comes out; with the prices on Mac cosmetics it is okay to be selective. If you can find dupes at a lesser price do it.
