Movie Review: The Avengers

So I finally saw the Avengers, I am a big comic book fan. I also love all the superhero cartoons. I went into this movie with high expectations. It has been the number one movie almost every weekend since it came out and the highest grossing opening film ever. So of course I am going to have some large expectations.

I was not disappointed. I totally loved it. The cast was perfect, I didn't really care for Mark Ruffalo before this but he did a passable job as the Hulk. I feel like he was overshadowed in this movie. My favorite character has got to be Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark/ Ironman, he is as always very funny and any scene he is in I always gravitate towards him and forget the other actors. Chris Hemsworth is also in this movie, we first met him in Thor. I see that he has made a lot progress as an actor. I look forward to seeing his growth and potential.

Tom Hiddleson as Loki is believable as the bad guy. Why mostly because he looks the part. It also stems from just his skills. Just looking at him I want him to be the bad guy.

Okay so my Final thoughts. If you have not seen it yet go see it, it's not just Hype.

So I went to see the latest Mac launch. I had them throw some on me . Here goes the look.

Reveiw: Avon Supershock Eyeliner In Metallic Teal

Hello Everyone,

Okay so I wanted to do a quick update. I was asked to give my thoughts on this so here goes.


Thoughts:

In the jar it is not as metallic as in the catalogue. It reminds me more of Mac Shade fluidline.  It was kind of moss green in color. It has some sparkly gold flecks in it, which I guess makes it metallic.
When I put it on my eye it did not go on solid, it was patchy.

Even though I was not impressed by the color, I did like the wear on this product I had it on for 8+ hours and it held up really well.

I like the price on this , it can be purchased for less than $5.00
I would say get this if you like Mac Shade but don't want to spend a lot.

Overall though I would give this a C

Review : Avon Vivid Orchid Eyeshadow Duo

So today I was provided some products to review. I will be trying to get all my reviews done this week.

Today's Product Is the Avon Vivid Orchid Eyeshadow.

So I of course wore it for the whole day before I did this review because I wanted to see how it would hold up.

Thoughts:

The eyeshadow is silky, very comparable to department store eyeshadows. We all know that sometimes when you buy the inexpensive shadows they tend to be a little chalky and hard to work with.

The eyeshadow was very pigmented, I would go so far as to compare this duo to some Mac shadows that are available.

I added my base to the shadow and it was very long wearing, I put it on at 10:00am and at midnight when I took my make off it hadn't moved, slipped or creased.

I like the fact that you don't have to pay that much to get such bright silky colors, the shadow is buildable. It doesn't look like you caked it on.

I also liked the price.

Overall:

I would recommend this particular duo as a must have, if you are a big purple fan or If you are trying color for the first time.

A Faux Gold Mystery

So today I wanted to show you what I got for my back to MAC, for those of you who are unfamiliar with that here goes. MAC has a recycling program, when you have 6 empty containers you can bring it back for a free lipstick or if you go to an actual MAC store (Lipglass or Eyeshadow).
