Duplicate Ahead

So as you all know I am trying to keep everybody up on all things beauty for cheap. Well as I was organizing my lipstick collection I made a discovery...

I have found a yet un-announced dupe. Yes my friends I have found one.

The Wonder Woman Collection From Mac saw the launch of the now popular (very sold out) Marquise D lipstick $15.50, limited edition

What I found that looks similar is the Nyx Ceto Round Lipstick $3.99 at Ulta

You be the judge .....

First up is the Nyx Lipstick:

Next is the Marquise D :

Left To Right: Ceto, Marquise D

• Unique flexible wand helps to lift and separate lashes to provide the look of 300% more visible, fuller lashes, no gaps from any angle
• Contact lens safe and ophthalmologist-tested
• Washable, also available in Waterproof formula

For Best Results

Hold brush with spoon side upwards against lashes and sweep from root to tip. Repeat until desired look is achieved. Do not let dry between coats. Removes easily with soap and water or Expert Eyes® 100% Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover.

Thoughts:

I liked it, lived up to the hype... I did two coats which made my lashes longer , I wish it seperated them more but length is key. I also didn't think that it added that much volume to my lashes. I dont care much for the spoon shape brush, I think that was the only thing I didnt care for, the price is like $5.99 +tax (love that)

Revlon Beyond Natural Review

Today I was testing the "natural" look. So I thought I would review this product and let you all in on my thoughts.

Product Information :
Weightless foundation that goes on white and self-adjusts to match your exact skin tone. In 5 shades with a flawless finish. SPF 15.

Nude Face

Beyond Natural Face

Beyond Natural Profile

Thoughts: It went on nice, as the description says it does start out white and then adjust, I used my fingers to apply. It does leave a messy brown film like normal foundation does. I feel like it was a tinted moisturizer , it doesn't offer as much coverage as I would like. When you don't have any blemishes at all then this would be a good product to use for going natural. If you do have blemishes and are doing this don't expect a lot of coverage. It did make my skin look less oily so I guess this would be a good face primer for real foundation.

All That Glitters

As I was trying to find what look to do today , I came up with a thought. Why not do a neutral shimmery look using the colors that I usually do on my brow bone....

So here's how we begin:

Eyes:

Benefit Fyeye Primer

Mac Paint Pot in Bare Study

Mac All That Glitters all over the lid

Mac Saddle on the crease

Mac Gleam on the browbone

Mac Stubborn Brown eyeliner

Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush mascara in Black

Face:

Boots No 7 Radiant Glow Foundation in Cocoa

Mac Desert Rose Blush

Lips:

Mac Ignite Lacquer

Nails:

OPI My Private Jet ( I don't think it is the original formula but one of the many "newer" recipes) they have a ton of different versions for this particular color because apparently they keep losing the recipe.

MAC Pro Longwear Lipcreme Review

Hello Ladies,

One of the lovely ladies that reviews my blog wanted a review of longwear lipstick seems she's searching for the perfect one..

Well I aim to please

Product:  Mac Pro Longwear Lipcreme in Goes and Goes

Price: $16.00

Product Information:  Lightweight texture, creamy finish and comfortable longwear combine in this has-it-all pro-class lip colour. Slick in use, applies without need of a top coat- and still lasts up to 12 hours. Won't feather or transfer, and the colour stays true. Helps lips stay soft and hydrated.

Thoughts:  As you all know I am the MAC girl all around love em, but it is with a heavy heart and a tear in my eye that I have to report that this isn't doing it for me. The longwear lasted didn't hold up well.I had to re-apply , when it says it doesn't transfer it means doesn't transfer much. My lips were sticky feeling and no hydration, unless you put a lip balm on first. It did manage to stay for the entire day though, with only a few touch ups because it dulled out a little after I ate or drank stuff. Others may have a different experience but to me it was just like regular lipstick not worth the hype.

Mary Kay Product Review

Hello Ladies,

First and Foremost I would like to take the oppurtunity to wish my sister a Happy Birthday today.

Now onto the business at hand, let's talk product...

So today I felt like my eyes were kind of splotchy and red when I woke up... I could make out every vein from about a mile away.. I think my eyes were telling me something.. I just wanted to say to my eyes I heard you and we are off to hunt...

Top pictures so eyes with no product , Below shows after the application.

Product : Mary Kay TimeWise Firming Eye Cream

Price:  $30.00

Product Information: Ninety-six percent saw an improvement in the overall appearance of the skin around their eyes.* Experience the results for yourself.

Just imagine a luxuriously rich eye cream so advanced it firms, brightens, provides intense moisturization, plus minimizes fine lines and wrinkles. With new TimeWise® Firming Eye Cream, you can have it all. It delivers more benefits for the younger-looking eyes you want to see.

Thoughts:  I liked this product, I as you know am not a fan of Mary Kay's cosmetics but their skincare line has a few winners on the roster. The feel of the product is  thick, satin like it is not runny which is a good thing since its going on by your eye. I used my ring finger and dotted it on(dotting helps so as not to tug on the skin around your eyes). It has no fragrance to irritate you; you can then follow up with your usual makeup regime.

Some Of My Mac Makeup Collection

As you all know I am all about my makeup, well I have been collecting MAC over the years. There are some shadows that have not been seen by the people who work in the stores its like an urban legend (but in a good way).

Anyway I decided to de-pot them and make my own palettes. It is amazing how many shadows I have (don't judge me).

Here they are:

Top Row left to right: Tilt, Humid, Aquadisiac
Middle Row left to right: Steamy, Springtime Skipper (LE), Deep Truth
Bottom Row : Water Nymph (LE)

Top Row left to right: Magic Dust (LE)*, Gleam, Gorgeous Gold, Goldmine, Star Violet
Middle Row left to Right: Antiqued, Agate (LE), Plum Dressing, Mothbrown(LE), Silver Ring
Bottom Row left to right: Nylon, Jest, All That Glitters, Contrast, Suspicion (LE)

Top Row left to right: Honesty, Mythology, Soba, Woodwinked, Romp
Middle Row left to right: Amberlights, Bronze, Sable, Mulch, Espresso
Bottom Row left to right: Satin Taupe, tempting, twinks, Embark, Carbon

Top Row left to right : Amethyst (LE), Purple Haze, Fertile, Nocturnelle, Trax
Middle Row left to right : Petalescent, Mancatcher (LE), Pink Venus, Swish, Expensive Pink
Bottom Row left to right: Sushi Flower, Hepcat, Cranberry, Paradisco, Coppering

****LE denotes limited Edition Shadows****

Now after seeing all these you may be wondering if I purchased all of them, most have been purchased by me, some were presents and a few were the back to MAC program... For those of you who have never purchased a MAC product here is what that is :  MAC recycles ( GO MAC) for every 6 empty plastic or metal container that you return to the actual MAC stores you can get a FREE lipstick, lip glass or eye shadow.. If you return it in the department store like Macy's or NORDSTROM you only can get the lipstick
