Blob... Thy name is cold sore

Sorry I haven't posted any looks this week, I am suffering from cold sores and find that I don't want others to see me like this...  I'm not ready for my close up ..<sigh>


So as I am in hiding it from the world, this made me ponder... What is the fastest way to get rid of a cold sore?

What seemed to have worked in my case is Caramex on it during the day, Abreva during the night and mornings clearing it up in a week....

Once it's all gone I'll be showing my face again :)

The Happiest Place On Earth....

Everyone has their favorite place on earth that makes that happy for me right now, it is the ULTA clearance section people.  I saw an Urban Decay set with two shadows for $4.99 priced down from $19.00.... OMG, awesome

It had Acid Rain:



Which in the container looks very green but when swatched has more of a gold tint to it

Then the second one was Narcotic:



This is described as a matte aqua green, this one very true to color

I'm Back

Hello Everyone,

I am back from my vacation, I was in sunny Jamaica . Soaking up the sun, seeing family and eating... I did manage to take a few pictures....

 This is the beach by the place where my mom works, I sat outside in the sun staring at the beach while she worked...

They have beautiful gardens on the grounds so I took pictures don't ask me the names though.

So when I was down there I didn't really do a ton of sightseeing, I mostly went to see family but I did happen to make it down to Green Grotto Caves( if you are ever in Jamaica it is a must see) here are the pictures.

Vacation

So today I was in a quandary, I did not know what I wanted to do with my eyes. After yesterdays color anything that I do just wouldn't compare. Then it dawned on me this isn't about doing bright colors everyday, this about learning, learning different color combos, different placement of the shadows to come up with different looks.. So I had the box sitting on my desk, I decided to take a picture (don't ask me why) I then had my NYX palette open this morning and it suddenly came to me what I should do... It was like a light bulb went on I searched for the colors and here is what I came out with...
