Welcome to another edition of Trouty Pout Friday, where we feature the lips.  I know it is odd to have a day dedicated to the Lips, but sometimes I feel like the lipstick just gets shoved into the background even if it is a bright lip.

NOTD: OPI Over The Taupe

So I painted my nails on Saturday, as I was having a Twilight Marathon to refresh my twillight knowledge for the upcoming movie. Today is Thursday and they still look as good as they did when I first put them on. I of course have the usual wear at the edges from new growth and daily life..


For This Mani I used:


Avon Silk Wrap Treatment  as base coat

OPI Over the Taupe { I really wanted Chanel Particuliere but I refuse to spend that much money on it, but would never refuse it as a gift :) }.

For a TopCoat I used Out The Door (purchased from Sally's Beauty Supply)

Thoughts

It felt more like I was wearing a lip stain, the moisturizing  top coat just didn't do anything for me. At times I feel that it was chunky. I was able to peel it off. It was very drying. It did not last all day on my lips, it lasted until I ate or drank something.

Would I Ever But This Again: No

Is it worth trying: Maybe If you like the lip stain look, or a matte type deal

Today I felt the need to make a statement with my eyes, so I trotted out my trusty NYX palette to get some loud colors.... I didn't add any foundation what so ever to my face today, I did try Cover Girl Lip color will be reviewing that at later time... Here is the Magic:

Walgreen's was having a sale on Revlon products which intrigued me so I had a friend pick me up a couple, (this was a few weeks ago)  I ended up paying like $2 and change for it...Regular Price is $7.99
