So a while back I was at the outlet and I discovered the cosmetic outlet, they had a few things their not a lot but I found a little treasure that I was meaning to try. I think that it does a good job of coverage the blemishes and dark spots.

Movie Review: HUGO

PLOT:

Hugo is a boy whose father dies, then his uncle goes missing. He starts to take care of his uncle's clock. He steals from a man who sells tinker toys to fix a robot his dad was working on. Along the way, he makes a friend who has the key to help him get the robot working.

THOUGHTS:

I think was a good movie, it was a little slow in parts. With better editing it would have been great.
This movie is about a young boy who is left alone when his father dies, the boy is then given to an Uncle to raise. The uncle puts the boy to work tuning the clocks while he drinks himself into a stupor, to get by the child steals from the merchants around the train station where he works/lives. All the while this is going on the boy must avoid being picked up the authorities and thrown into an orphanage.  This is a wonderful movie fun for kids to see it is a learning experience. When the odds are stacked against you don't give up just push on, because big things are out there for you.


Go see it in the theater, but please leave the baby at home (side note to the people at the AMC in Rosedale)

Lunch At Granite City

Hello My Dears,

 I just wanted to let you all know about the fabulous lunch I had. I had never been to this restaurant before, I love food and it loves me. So I tried the Jambalaya, no sausage. This item on the menu was the only one that came with a warning that it was a spicy dish.

My only complaint is I wish they had more rice, other than that it was awesome. If you can find a Granite City you should try that dish.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters

So for Christmas I received an OPI nail polish that I had already. So I went to Ulta, where they allowed me to exchange it for something else. So I got the Revlon Lip Butter. They also had buy one get one 50 % so I picked up 4, then to top off all that Ulta was handing out $5 gift cards  (while supplies last)...


So I ended up getting: Candy Apple, Raspberry Pie, Tutti Fruitti, Lollipop, Peach Parfait

Bare Lips:  ( I used a Lip Scrub on my lips first just get rid off the excess dead skin)

I think my favorite of the bunch is Lollipop, it adds just the right amount of colors to my lips. I am not sure about the moisture though. I may have to do a comparison review to other Lip Butters.
