NOTD: OPI Over The Taupe

So I painted my nails on Saturday, as I was having a Twilight Marathon to refresh my twillight knowledge for the upcoming movie. Today is Thursday and they still look as good as they did when I first put them on. I of course have the usual wear at the edges from new growth and daily life..


For This Mani I used:


Avon Silk Wrap Treatment  as base coat

OPI Over the Taupe { I really wanted Chanel Particuliere but I refuse to spend that much money on it, but would never refuse it as a gift :) }.

For a TopCoat I used Out The Door (purchased from Sally's Beauty Supply)

Thoughts

It felt more like I was wearing a lip stain, the moisturizing  top coat just didn't do anything for me. At times I feel that it was chunky. I was able to peel it off. It was very drying. It did not last all day on my lips, it lasted until I ate or drank something.

Would I Ever But This Again: No

Is it worth trying: Maybe If you like the lip stain look, or a matte type deal
