The SuperModel Look: Courtesy Of Victoria's Secret

So today I re-created a runway look from a Victoria's Secret runway show...

I used the Limited Edition  Heidi Klum Exotic Jewel Holiday Collection launched in  2009 (Victoria's Secret).

On the Lips I used Benefit Lipgloss in  Fresh Squeezed this was from the holiday collection 2010...

The Wet N Wild Spring Collection : I'm Getting Sunburned

So I happened upon the Spring Collection for Wet N Wild courtesy of a little birdie... The colors are very nice, the are well pigmented and have a silky feel to it... this is nice as it makes it comparable to a department store makeup.... I also wanted to note that Victoria Secrets has a nice pink lipstick called Pulse in their Spring Collection.....

Metallics : The Look

Today I did remember to bring my chord...LOL... so i will begin with the look from yesterday...

On the Lid:

Mac Sexpectations : from the peacocky collection
Matte Brown From the Wet N Wild Vanity Palette
Mac Shroom on the brow bone

For the liner I used the Maybelline Unstoppable in Black I didn't like that at as much ( but oh well ) I feel like if you are going to do the waterline you should use charcoal pencil...

I used my usual foundation and blush....

For the lip I use MAC Dare To Wear Lipglass in Wind Me Up....

Tools Of The Trade

So I was asked a question last night , that i thought would be something interesting for everybody to know....

Question: What are the essential brushes to have in my makeup kit

So here is my answer :  As any good trade man would tell you, you are only as good as the tools you have....

So  I have determined that the essential make-up kit consist of 5 brushes: these are from mac but there are other less expensive ones...

Applying, contouring or highlighting powder-based products such as eye shadow, powder, or Pigment. Soft round "brush" tapers into a tip. Of natural :

This can be used for gel eyeliner as well...

I use this brush to put shadow all over the lid..

NYX Palette : Egyptian Princess Look

Today it is all about the princess look and being "fabush"... I wore this grey dress by JAX ( found it on sale at Macys ) marked waaaaaaaaaaay down.... I wore a black sweater from the Buckle... knee high socks..boots from the buckle as well...


The Makeup:

I used GOLD on the lids , black on the crease, then a shimmery brown as the highlight....

I used the Maybelline dream mousse foundation ,  Mac Desert Rose blush

Lips :  Avon Perfect Wear in Everlasting Pearl
